I had to share this shot of my nephew, Hayden. I took him out for some pictures yesterday for a project that I am working on (more to come later!!!) and I just couldn't resist showing you this one. Enjoy!

Mesa Arizona Temple

I am excited to offer you an original piece of artwork of the Mesa Arizona Temple. My father-in-law asked for a picture of the Temple for Christmas and so my project began. After completing this for him I had to order one for myself as I fell in love with it. Since that time, I have received so many compliments and even a few order requests that I decided to offer this artwork to all of you as well.

My favorite part of this picture is that it is a unique piece that is customized with your sealing date. Each time I look at the picture hanging in my family room I think back to my wedding day and the feelings I had at this time. It is a daily reminder of why I got married to my amazing husband and it is a silent reminder to my children of the Temple's importance in our lives. I am planning on ordering a smaller version to put in both Brigham and Brooklyn's rooms and include the date they were sealed to our family after their adoptions.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!



(These were Brooklyn's Valentine's for school, which is why there is no Brigham. I know, mean mom. Next year I will make him his very own to pass out.)

Welcome Packet

All of you photographers out there, this post is for you! I am so excited to start on this exciting adventure of designing templates for photographers. I have a love for both photography and scrapbooking so designing templates gives me an outlet for both passions. In the months to come, I plan on continuing to release new products that will help photographers save time designing and spend more time impressing their clients. Products will include card designs, business materials and more!

To start off I figured I would start with a Welcome Packet! These can be time consuming to create on your own, but with the templates provided you are well on your way! You just need to add some of the wording and pictures to make these unique to you. Send these out to clients after they book and impress them before they even meet you. Who doesn't like to get beautiful letters in the mail? These also provide you an avenue to educate your clients up front. Tell them what your policies are, give them suggestions of what to wear, provide them with a list of your collections and prices, etc. After the session you can include information about your referral plan and copyright information. And don't forget the marketing postcards that are also included. Now all of your materials will have your consistent branding so clients can recognize in an instant.

The Details:

-Templates come with instructions, list of free fonts to download, templates as shown above and a vendor list.
-The Welcome Packet is set to be printed as 4x6 postcards
-A basic working of Photoshop, including working with layers, is required to complete templates.
-Software Requirements: Photoshop CS, CS2, CS3. I believe that all versions will work as you are provided with layers, but please email me if you use a different version and I will send you a sample file to try before you buy.
-You have the ability to change all colors, fonts and layout if desired.
-It is the responsibility of the buyer, not Jodi Davis Photography, LLC to check spelling, printer specifications, and color space, before printing. Colors may vary depending on the printer used.
-You will be provided templates in both sRGB and CMYK. Be sure to check with your printer before you begin completing templates as the color space will affect printed colors.
-Templates may not be transferred, sold or shared with more than one photographer.
-Only the wording shown in the photo directly above will be included. Not all wording in samples of printed packets above will be included with the templates.
-These templates will not be offered to photographers in Arizona as this is where I market my business.
